Mittersill-Hollersbach-Stuhlfeden is truly an El Dorado for cross-country skiing enthusiasts, whether their interests are classic cross country or skating as a hobby or rare high- powered sports fanatics – its features range from the gentle charm of the Pinzga cross-country course in the valley, via the artificially snow-covered Blizzard cross-country course (illuminated at night and situated in Mittersill’s town centre), right through to the challenging Hochmoor cross-country course.
In winter Mittersill is part of the Hohe Tauern Ski Region with fantastic skiing, offering over 33 lifts and totally interconnected pistes.

For the warmer months the picturesque hiking region Mittersill-Hollersbach-Stuhlfelden is nestled between the 3.000 m peaks of the National Park Hohe Tauern and the soft grass-topped mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. Owing to their unique geographical location the three villages are ideal vantage points for numerous hiking and trekking tours.
There is easy access from Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich.
